David E. Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his orthopaedic residency at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA. Dr. Brown was the Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and team physician at the United States Naval Academy for two years before moving to Omaha.
He is clinical associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Brown directs the sports medicine rotation for the orthopaedic surgery residents at the Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital and is the team physician for the Omaha Vipers, professional indoor soccer team.
Dr. Brown has written numerous publications, is currently on the editorial board of the American Journal of Orthopaedics, and was co-editor for Orthopedic Secrets, published by Hanley and Belfus.
Dr. Brown's clinical team includes his physician assistant, Valerie Bodlak-Harms, and his nurse, Colleen.
